Purpose of use

The following reference is for the Hospital A.Z. Nikolaas, in Sint Niklaas Belgium. The MRI-System installed at the Hospital A.Z. Nikolaas is used to perform all general diagnosis on the human body.

Features

To enhance the facilities visual impression, the RF door to the RF room is constructed entirely from glass; this serves as both an architectural attribute and additional viewing capacity to observe the patient during examinations. This feature coupled with an interior lining made of glass panels and other decorative designs, are all conceived for the benefit of the patients comfort and assurance. This high field MRI-System would normally call for additional LF- magnetic shielding. However, with the contribution of our steel panel construction and the carefully chosen position of the MRI-System site within the building, this became unnecessary.
