From classic to high: LED concepts for RF rooms

LED technology is already used in many applications, including the inside of the RF room. This affords us a number of lighting solutions; from the basic LED warm or cold lighting, through to ultra-high-end designs using LED light bars. Such systems are controlled from outside the RF room and can provide the patient with relaxing ‘mood’ lighting. This could for example replicate a warm sunny atmosphere on a cold winter days while on hot sunny days, a rather cooler shade of blue lighting. Other significant advantages of LED lighting are their inherent long life, low power consumption and low heat generation.
